The microphone capsule is a Dachman M7, which imparts a vintage tonal character with a proper frequency response in the "sibilance" range from 5 to 8kHz.
The microphone tube is a Soviet analog Telefunken AC701K, and the circuitry utilizes proprietary designs for tube microphone circuitry, bridging the M49 and U47 designs.
The Terrapin transformer is made from Cobalt Amorphous Alloy, providing superior performance characteristics over permalloy. The transformer maintains its inductance throughout the audio spectrum.
The microphone cable is a 7-pin XLR from Tasker (Italy), with Neutrik connectors. The capacitors are Teflon and foil/polypropylene.
